About Sundale

Sundale  is one of several pretty whitewashed cottages on The Coombes and has been refurbished and re-modelled for guest comfort. Located just a few minutes stroll from the harbour, shops, restaurants and excellent pubs in the village the cottage has its own parking directly in front of the property (rare in Polperro). Cars are prohibited, except for access, in Polperro thus making it a quiet but accessible cottage and the river Pol bubbles past the front of the cottage and leads down to the harbour. The lounge features comfy leather sofas and a feature fireplace (not working) . It is the perfect space to unwind and watch TV on a 43" smart TV with Netflix, Amazon prime movies, BBC iPlayer, Internet access and various additional apps, there is also a blue ray DVD player all with surround sound system or listen to the Stereo or socialise. BT infinity Broadband is included so you can keep connected The kitchen is well equipped with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and all the utensils you need to self cater. Sundale offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate lounge, a well presented kitchen/diner and outside space making it a popular choice for families and for guests wanting the benefit of onsite parking for 2 cars, yet a short walk to the habour and village amenities. This makes Sundale a perfect base from which to explore this part of Cornwall, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From stunning coastal walks, to hidden coves, secluded beaches to lush countryside, they are all waiting to be discovered, along with a hole host of sight seeing and visitor attractions.

Garden at rear with patio.


Great cottage with car park in front of cottage new decking at the rear of the property inside kitchen is great and bathroom is the best i have seen in any cottage we have used that good booked for next April


Great holiday home and location with the added bonus of private parking. This is now the 3rd time we?ve stayed at Sundale since 2017. We like the fact we can park outside the house with its own private offroad parking (instead of leaving your car in the car park) and we are literally 1 minutes walk to the Crumplehorn Pub and also just a few minutes away from the harbour shops and restaurants too. We love the little stream that runs past the front of the cottage that we can hear all night if we open the windows. Inside the cottage is modern, clean and laid out nicely. The kitchen-diner is new and the living room cozy. The owners and house manager have made us feel very welcome and I can?t wait until we return to explore Polperro again soon.


Ideally located, spotlessly clean, well equipped. Perfect base for a holiday. Comfortably furnished. Absolutely no complaints
